In 2017, Georgia has exported a record number of wine over the last 30 years,which is a result of coordinated and effective collaboration of wine industry and governmental structures regulating winemaking and viticulture sector.

According to LEPL National Wine Agency,76,7mil. bottles (0,75l) of wine have been exported to 53 countries worldwide, that is 54% higher than the similar data of the last year.Totally, 170 mil. USD worth of wine have been exported, that is 49% higher than the data of the previous year.

The first five of the exporter countries is thefollowing: Russia – (47 778920), Ukraine - (8 502 554), China - (7585 407), Kazakhstan – (3322 867) and Poland – (2 676 440).

In addition, 18,4 mil bottles (0,5 liters) of brandy have been exported to 26 countries worldwide, that is 78% higher than the similar data ofthe last year. Totally, 39,4 million USD worth of brand have been exported, the growth compared to the similar data of the last year is 70%.

288 thousand bottles (0.5 l)of “Chacha” have been exported to 23 countries worldwide, growth amounted 180 %. Income of “Chacha” export amounted 846,3 USD, the growth compared to the last year is 148%.
